Spiritual Growth

Saint Susanna Parish School provides a Christ centered environment which focuses on the moral development of our students. As a part of our accreditation process in 2006-07, Saint Susanna School established the following Catholic identity goal: Saint Susanna students will practice their faith by participating in required Christian service projects and/or classroom/schoolwide activities that relate to the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

St. Susanna provides many opportunities and experiences for students to grow in their Catholic faith including:

  • Weekly Mass or Prayer Service
  • Sacramental preparation
  • Daily prayers and Intentions
  • Overall Christian environment

Students at St Susanna also participate in many different Mission Outreach programs. Our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are required to perform service hours each year. All of our students participate in class service projects.

  • Weekly canned goods collection for those in need in our area
  • Kids Café
  • Matthew 25 Ministries
  • Advent and Lent service projects
  • Harvest for the Hungry
  • Rosary Club
  • Pasta for Patients
